The cold and hot plate pain
measurement method is a commonly used method for pain screening and
detection, as well as a method for determining and distinguishing the
analgesic mechanisms of central and peripheral nerves. It has a wide
range of applications. In the past, due to lax temperature control,
inaccurate timing, and errors in personnel operation during use, the
specificity of experimental results was often low. Based on the above
problems, we have developed a rat and mouse cold and hot plate pain
measurement instrument to solve the problems in the cold and hot plate
method. It has received unanimous praise from experts and professors in
trial and practical use.
The hot and cold plate pain meter for mice
and rats is easy to use, with clear indicators, minimal tissue damage,
and can be repeatedly used in animals. The pain response latency is
long, making it easy to observe and measure small differences between
them, compare the strength, speed, and duration of analgesic effects,
and export detection data。
